Twelve hour time. My mind fries whenever I need to analyze what time 1900 hours is (was that right?).

I'm more used to twelve hour time. @Poser, that would be 7:00pm.

Military time, on the contrary, is much more useful.

I'm familiar with both conventions of time, but I prefer the 24-hour clock. Wink

The two times in question are the 24-hour clock ( or "Military Time" ) and 12-hour clock.

The 12-hour clock begins at 12:00am, noon at 12:00pm, and the day ends after 11:59pm.
The 24-hour clock begins at 00:00, noon at 12:00, and the day ending at 23:59 ( or 24:00 ).

You'll see that the 12-hour clock is split into two sections of 12 ; ante meridiem ( am ) and post meridiem ( pm ). The wiki will give you more information. Wink

lol yeah, the 24-hour clock is commonly referred to as "Military time" because the military utilizes it. They're both widely used though, especially the 24-hour clock in some workplaces and parts of the world, so it's good to know both. Wink

Nah, it's not weird, the general public uses the 12-hour clock where I am so I tend to use that more when communicating. I use the 24-hour clock on my computer and devices, but I got a few digital clocks around the house that use 12 hours. Razz

When I'm online, I prefer the military time (mainly because it's what I see on my computer clock). However, in real life, I prefer the twelve-hour time.
